Community collaboration is woven deeply into the very history of the schools of Reggio Emilia, and community ownership and relationships are strong components that are represented here at PSA, as in other Reggio-inspired schools today.

- February 21, 11:30am-12:30pm – “Developing Speech & Language Skills in Young Children”, Kellie Miller (Speech Pathologist at Madison Metropolitan School District and PSA Parent) Come and learn about phonological awareness, speech sounds, and promoting language development in young children, followed by a Q&A session.
- March 19, 11:30am-12:30pm – “Building Emotional Intelligence through Yoga and Meditation”, Sierdje den Daas & Nati Israeli (Snowflake Room co-teachers) Learn about the Snowflake Room’s work in building body awareness, as well as practicing mindful eating and listening with young children.
- April 9, 11:30am-12:30pm – “Children and the Natural World”, Caroline Troia (Silver Room co-teacher) & Sojin Chi (Director) Learn about PSA’s journey of change in our approach and work with children in the outdoor environment, and dream with us about our next steps and parent projects.
- May 21, 11:30-12:30pm – “Composting with Kristin”, Kristin Sobol (Art specialist) As we head into warmer season(s), join our Dane County Certified Master Composter to learn about composting.
