Board of Directors

The Board represents families and is an oversight group, providing strategy and support to furthering the mission and vision of Preschool of the Arts. The board approves PSA’s long term and annual goals, oversees the Executive Director, and monitors the financial management of the school.

Chelsea Johnson, PresidentChelsea Johnson is a Senior Recruiter for Exact Sciences and has spent the past 10 years working in recruiting and HR within various industries. Chelsea has a passion for community involvement and bringing people together. When she’s not recruiting or volunteering, Chelsea can found running around Madison and going on adventures with her daughter and son who both attend PSA.   
Noelle Warnock Al-Adra, President-ElectNoelle (she/her) has over 10 years of experience in education, both in teaching and administration. She has a BA, BEd and MEd specializing in Educational Administration and Leadership. As both a teacher and educational leader, her passion has and continues to develop in areas related to educational inclusivity, social justice and anti-racism. Her daughter is a recent graduate from PSA and her son is in the Green Room this year.
Adam Templer, TreasurerAdam has his Masters of Accountancy degree from UW Madison and is a CPA who worked in public accounting and consulting at Deloitte and Baker Tilly for eight years. He currently serves on the executive team at Bear Real Estate Group as the vice president of development, a position he’s held for the last five years. His focus is on the financing, construction, and management of various real estate asset classes including multi-family, commercial, and hotels. Two of his daughters currently attend PSA.
Erica GittingsErica is the Attorney Mediator and Arbitrator at Wisconsin Divorce Solutions.  In addition to her legal and dispute resolution background, she has experience in human resources, professional development, and organizational trust. She has been a Board Member since 2019 and serves on the Emergency Response Task Force (formerly the COVID Task Force).  Erica’s son attended PSA until he started first grade this year and her daughter is in the Copper Room.
Ena LeeEna Lee and her family joined Preschool of the Arts in 2018. When she’s not in the dental office treating patients, she loves to travel, run, and swim.
Andy MuellerAndy is a Senior Vice President of Operations at Nordic Consulting, where he is responsible for shaping strategy and putting in place processes and systems that ensure ongoing success and continuous improvement. He is a cross-functional leader who is involved in many facets of business.  He is also a Board Member for RISE Wisconsin, which is a NFP in the Madison area providing a variety of wellness and mental health services to children and families. He has two sons, one currently attends PSA and one is an alumnus who has moved on to first grade.  His wife is a co-teacher in the Blue Room.
Ben Williams, SecretaryFor the past ten years, Ben has worked in different roles as a consultant focusing on finance, strategy, and collaboration. His past board experience has included serving as Vice Chair of United Way Dane County’s Board Training Committee and as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin School of Human Ecology teaching undergraduate classes on nonprofit organizations, community change, and nonprofit business models. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with degrees in marketing, management & human resources and psychology and received my Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the La Follette School of Public Affairs. His two children attend PSA.
Jennifer JohnsonA longtime Madison resident, Jennifer has put down deep roots in this community and is involved with a variety of local organizations. Currently, she serves as Board Chair for the Madison Children’s Museum and she has vast experience with funding development. She feels so privileged that she and her daughter belong to the PSA community and look forward to contributing in whatever way is most needed.
Jenny HuffmanJenny (she/her) holds a Master of Social Work degree with a background in quality assurance and nonprofit management. She currently works for the Waisman Center as a researcher studying prevalence rates of autism and other developmental disabilities. In addition, Jenny holds a Doctor of Ministry degree and serves as an adjunct professor at a seminary where she focuses on transformational leadership and organizational
change. Jenny also volunteers as a Patient & Family Advisor for UW Health and the American Family Children’s Hospital. She has two children who attend PSA – Cloud Room and Snowflake Room – and is a PSA graduate herself.
Debbie HembDebbie Hemb joined PSA 25 years ago as a parent, teacher and then administration and continues to serve the school during her retirement. She graduated from UW with a degree in Early Childhood.  She has vast knowledge of the organization’s history, mission and values. She is a treasured part of the PSA family!
Coral ManningCoral is an Early Childhood Systems Consultant who works within the federal child care technical assistance system to help states implement large scale changes in their child care systems. Previously, Coral oversaw early childhood initiatives for the City of Madison and early childhood quality initiatives for the State of Wisconsin. Outside of work, Coral enjoys running, both for exercise and after her two children who are current and former PSA students. 
Zoe Wolfe, Staff Representative Zoe is currently a co-teacher in the Silver Room and has been part of PSA’s community for nearly four years. She has a background in neuroscience and outdoor education and is currently working toward her Master’s of Early Childhood Education through the Erikson Institute. 
Alice Sullivan, Staff RepresentativeAlice is currently a co-teacher in the Oak Room.
Penny Robbins, ex-officio Dr. Penny Robbins is the Executive Director of Preschool of the Arts.
