Board of Directors
The Board represents families and is an oversight group, providing strategy and support to furthering the mission and vision of Preschool of the Arts. The board approves PSA’s long term and annual goals, oversees the Executive Director, and monitors the financial management of the school.
Debbie Hemb President | Debbie Hemb joined PSA 25 years ago as a parent, teacher and then administration and continues to serve the school during her retirement. She graduated from UW with a degree in Early Childhood. She has vast knowledge of the organization’s history, mission and values. She is a treasured part of the PSA family! | ![]() |
Andy Mueller President Elect | Andy is a Senior Vice President of Operations at Nordic Consulting, where he is responsible for shaping strategy and putting in place processes and systems that ensure ongoing success and continuous improvement. He is a cross-functional leader who is involved in many facets of business. He is also a Board Member for RISE Wisconsin, which is a NFP in the Madison area providing a variety of wellness and mental health services to children and families. He has two sons, one currently attends PSA and one is an alumnus who has moved on to first grade. His wife is a co-teacher in the Blue Room. | ![]() |
Coral Manning | Coral is an Early Childhood Systems Consultant who works within the federal child care technical assistance system to help states implement large scale changes in their child care systems. Previously, Coral oversaw early childhood initiatives for the City of Madison and early childhood quality initiatives for the State of Wisconsin. Outside of work, Coral enjoys running, both for exercise and after her two children who are current and former PSA students. | ![]() |
Ben Williams | For the past ten years, Ben has worked in different roles as a consultant focusing on finance, strategy, and collaboration. His past board experience has included serving as Vice Chair of United Way Dane County’s Board Training Committee and as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin School of Human Ecology teaching undergraduate classes on nonprofit organizations, community change, and nonprofit business models. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with degrees in marketing, management & human resources and psychology and received my Master’s degree in Public Affairs from the La Follette School of Public Affairs. His two children attend PSA. | |
Jenny Huffman | Jenny holds a Master of Social Work degree with a background in quality assurance and nonprofit management. Her primary focus is families and kids with developmental disabilities, most recently working at the Waisman Center on a public health surveillance project that studies the prevalence rates of autism spectrum disorder. In addition, Jenny holds a Doctor of Ministry degree and works as an adjunct professor at a seminary. There she teaches courses on transformational leadership, strategic planning, and organizational change. Jenny has two children, one current PSA student and one PSA graduate. She is also a PSA graduate herself! She currently serves as the Parent Co-Chair and Board Liaison for PSA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee and is honored to continue serving the community through this role. | ![]() |
Jieli Wei Treasurer | Jieli is a Finance professional with diversified, multi-industry experiences driving financial results through strategic planning, financial management, and reporting. She is passionate about adding value and increasing business long-term shareholder wealth. She is a CPA and MBA, currently works at Ametek CAMECA US as Financial Controller where she leads the finance team. In her spare time, Jieli enjoys playing the piano. Jieli has twin girls who are attending PSA currently. She feels grateful for PSA provided her twin girls with such an enriched learning environment. | ![]() |
Noah Relles | A few years ago, Noah and his family moved back to Madison, where he was born and raised, after a decade living out of state. At work, he is a trial lawyer representing people injured in car accidents, people accused of crimes, and professionals under investigation for licensing issues. At home, he does his best to keep up with his son’s boundless energy and insatiable curiosity. Noah is grateful for the vibrant learning environment at PSA, and for the opportunity to serve as a Board member for this vital organization. | ![]() |
Laura Chidyllo Secretary | Laura previously worked in the fields of marketing and systems administration and is currently a stay at home parent. Laura looks forward to serving the PSA community as a member of the Board. Her two children are PSA students. | ![]() |

Amanda Burns | ||
Nathan Wheeler | Nate recently completed a PhD in Education within the Department of Curriculum & Instruction during which time he researched learning science, collaboration, design thinking, the maker movement, digital media, and innovation. He also holds an MFA, a teaching credential, and has worked across the PreK-undergraduate educational spectrum as a teacher/professor, creative producer, and program director, including 10 years with independent schools. Nate and his husband are the busy dads of two bilingual (English/German) daughters currently enrolled at PSA. In his spare time he enjoys swimming, running, biking, and being in the Northwoods with a paddle or skis. | ![]() |
